trying to step into others' larger shoes that don't fit you?
It's a good time to get married now.

The economic crisis have caused a downsizing of my organization. Latest info was 30 people got retrenched. It's kinda scary actually.
But what I wanna highlight is that it's a good time to get married now! Haha. Everybody that is calling in for wedding enquiry is asking for a lower price package cause of the economic crisis. It can be quite irritating at times but it's really true and my management is looking at a doing a cheaper package I think.
For those people who are already saving for their marriage, go for it now! Even housing are cheaper now. Seize this opportunity as you can save alot of money. =) Yeah!
But too bad my 2 friends are too young to get married already. Oh no no, Janice is turning to 21 YEARS OLD like in a few days. Not young anymore!!! *Grinz
lacking of something...

i think this world...
it's lacking something.
the basics of everything...
L-O-V-E
the simple act of affirmation,
of encouragements,
of edification,
and reciprocation.
i cant help but feel rather down whenever such situations arise again and again.
such simple things are hard to fulfill in this kinda society we are living in, isnt it?
but i was really hoping it could start with....... us
friends.
*sigh*

IDMC08 showed a short clipse of Facing the Giants that was so inspiring, that i borrowed the dvd and watched it. tonight, my parents' cell's going to watch it. reminds me of the line that stuck in my head ever since then.
to build a stone wall.
to understand what it means, you shld watch the show. alittle slow going, but rather inspirational and meaningful.
when tough times or tough circumstances or tsunami wave of nasty thoughts come smashing like those huge ruggers, just think of a stone wall and stand firm, smashing right back and through at them. haa, talk about resilience and tenacity huh.
we each just need to make sure our portion of the stone wall stands firm, so that together, we'll really form a solid stone wall against all attacks. starting from the leaders, all the way down to the members. leaders head it on first, so haha, maybe like different layers of walls. stand firm, think like a stone wall. cannot move one.
stone wall, yah?!
whines!!!

A person with outward courage dares to die,
A person with inward courage dares to live.
