i conquered Thoughts today. really so apt, the DI message.
my four fold calling in life:
- Called to Live a Resolute Life.
- Called to Love God
- Called to Labour with Him
- Called to Leave a Worthy Legacy
Godliness is to the soul what the light is to the world: to illustrate and adorn it. It is not greatness which sets us off in God's eye but goodness. What is the beauty of the angels but their sanctity? Godliness is the intricate embroidery and workmanship of the Holy Ghost. A soul furnished with godliness is damasked with beauty, it is enameled with purity.

after 3 years of wanting to go back again, i finally will be doing so.
a beautiful place with beautiful memories. it'll be different definitely, since i'm going with my family, no cool running around and AHHHH~ have chaotic fun, but it's a beautiful place and i'm going back during WINTER AGAIN. how great! escape singapore's killer heat.
well, won't be able to go inside the opera house and perform, or go into their backstage and wait in nervous anxiety for our performance, or wait anxiously for the result (97,97,98 upon 100!), or sing loudly ACJC's sch anthem, or tremble in winter with a skirt and thin stockings infront of the opera house, or hold onto the GOLD BAND plate, or walk alone with crystal at night along the streets aimlessly till it gets scary when we walk too far from our hotel.
sydney!

would anyone give up anything for someone he loves?
Jesus gave His life for us.
Birthday Gift!
Becky jotted on @ 11:25 PM
I received my second birthday gift today! Wohoo...
Auntie Jenny (Chester's mummy) wants to pass it to be before she leaves for Alasaka for a month in June. So exciting!!
She doesn't know this, but she is already the best gift God gave me. I learnt so so much from her. And I love to be with her. =)
Nice Taxi Uncle...
Becky jotted on @ 11:03 PM
I took a cab from work to Chin Bee Ave to meet up one of my client. Only realising that I didn't have enough cash when I was reaching the destination. Told the uncle to go further up, so that I can draw money from JP.
I gave him all the money I have in my wallet, $13.00 when the taxi fare is already $15.00++. Told him to wait for me and I'll draw money. Took some time to buy drinks too. Only found out that the taxi uncle wasn't at the spot where I alighted, when I returned. I called Janice to ask her if I should wait or take another cab? She said wait lah, while I said but there are so many other cabs around.
Not long after, the taxi uncle appeared. He said he can't wait there, so he went for one round. I said : Uncle tot you left without me. He replied : I must keep to my words, I said I will wait for you. If not you might be scolding and cursing at me behind my back, which is totally not worth it.
(He is unlike the horrible uncle that I once took, when I rushed home from school to get the mac adapter. He said wait wait, but in the end left without me when I returned. I was already rushing for time and there was no other cab on the streets when it was raining so heavily. I was fuming with anger.)
I offered taxi uncle another bottle of drink that I bought and he was really happy. Seems like I was an angel sent from Heaven. Hehe. In the end, the uncle didn't want to accept more money from me cause I bought him the drink. The fare came up to be $19.00+. I insisted on giving him.
Just something that happened today that made me smile. =)

like how our secondary school compositions will go, "the sun was beating mercilessly down on the backs of the people..." today is nothing short of hot and humid.
anw, shinjuku incident is not a good show. rampant evil, a show where no hope is available, and shows the ugly side of humans, and a running undercurrent of fear. uh-uh. totally not good show to watch.

i was searching for some stuff in our archives,
and gosh!
i realised how much we have changed by looking at those past photos.
we used to look so young, SKINNY, and innocent.
now we (especially becks) look so much more mature.
things have changed so much. our lives, circumstances,
even the way we think and convey ourselves.
i, for one, have changed tremendously.
in any case, thank God for this precious friendship of ours.
we certainly do not want to take this for granted.
let's stay true and strong for each other through thick and thin
while spurring one another on in our eternal pursuit come what may. :)
