Lately, i read this most famous sermon that sparked the 'Great Awakening'. It made me tremble in fear. Read it only if you dare to, not an easy sermon to swallow for many, I'll warn you.
Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God by Jonathan Edwards

Jonathan Edwards entered Yale University at the age of 13. This sermon really portrayed the gospel in a different light, something that we don't do. Context of the audience to whom he preached this sermon: a hard-hearted congregation. But you can't deny that it's true.
Pastor Kong Hee said it true in his article:
"The fact that the greatest gift God has given to us is the Bible tells us plainly that to grow in God, we need to know how to read, reason, analyze and understand".
(okay la, to me the greatest gift is salvation but anw..)
This inspired me to study not just because i need to do well in my grades, really. but now it has inspired me to think with my brain. =X train my brain up. not just learning the facts of accounting, or biology, or whatever be the case. but education is more than that for me now. ah, if only i had this realisation earlier.
